Road to ILF 2026 Session 2 : Beyond Access: Leveraging Digital Solutions to Advance the Health and Rights of Women and Girls

eHealth Africa Insight Webinar_July 2026

Across Africa, women and girls continue to face significant barriers to accessing quality healthcare, information, protection services, education, and economic opportunities. While governments, development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector have made substantial investments to improve outcomes for women and girls, persistent inequalities linked to geography, income, gender norms, education, and social exclusion continue to limit access to essential services for millions.

The second Road to ILF 2026 Webinar Series is themed,  “Beyond Access: Leveraging Digital Solutions to Advance the Health and Rights of Women and Girls.”  The webinar will explore how digital innovations including mobile health platforms, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, digital financial services, online learning tools, and social media can improve health outcomes, expand access to critical services, strengthen protection mechanisms, and promote greater inclusion for women and girls.

It will also address challenges such as digital literacy gaps, affordability, online safety, data privacy concerns, harmful social norms, gender-based violence, and unequal access to technology.

Convened by eHealth Africa Group, in partnership with Africa Health Tech Summit (AHTS) and The Dala Group, the webinar forms part of the Road to ILF 2026 engagement strategy, helping to shape conversations and partnerships ahead of the fourth edition of the Insights Learning Forum (ILF) 2026.

Bringing together leaders from healthcare, technology, civil society, development, media, and policymaking, the discussion aims to identify practical solutions, strengthen partnerships, and generate actionable recommendations for advancing gender equity and social inclusion through digital transformation.
